Weapon Rarity & Stats Guide - Which Tools to Keep
Complete breakdown of weapon rarities, stats, and which tools are worth keeping or merging in Cut Trees
Understanding the Weapon System in Cut Trees
Unlike most Roblox games, Cut Trees doesn't have a shop where you buy weapons. Instead, all weapons come from chests, making the chest system the core of progression.
đ¨ Weapon Rarity Tiers
Weapons come in five main rarity levels:
- Common (Gray) - Basic starter weapons
- Rare (Blue) - Noticeable upgrade from Common
- Epic (Purple) - Solid mid-game weapons
- Mythic (Gold) - End-game tier weapons
- Giant Mythic (Rainbow/Gold) - Ultra-rare, the absolute best
Important: Rarity doesn't tell the full story! A Rare weapon with great stats can outperform a low-stat Epic weapon.
đ Understanding Weapon Stats
Every weapon in Cut Trees has three core stats:
1. Cutting Power (Base Damage)
- How much "damage" each hit does to a tree
- Higher = trees fall faster
- This stat scales exponentially with rarity
2. Speed (Attack Speed)
- How fast you swing your weapon
- Measured in hits per second
- Speed stat is usually consistent within a rarity tier
3. Area (AOE Range)
- How many trees you can hit simultaneously
- Most important stat for farming efficiency
- Range: 1-10+ trees per swing
đ¯ Which Stat Matters Most?
Early Game (Forest World):
- Area > Cutting Power > Speed
- Being able to hit 5-7 trees at once dramatically speeds up chest collection
- Don't worry about raw damage yet
Mid Game (Lava World):
- Cutting Power = Area > Speed
- Trees have more HP here, so damage starts mattering
- Still want decent Area for efficiency
Late Game (World 3+):
- Cutting Power > Area > Speed
- Trees are tanky; you need massive damage
- Area is still useful but damage is king
đ¨ The Anvil: Weapon Merging System
Unlocked: When you unlock Lava World (1,000,000 coins)
How it works:
- Merge duplicate weapons to create enhanced versions
- Example: 2x Epic Axe â 1x Epic Axe+ (stronger stats)
- You can merge multiple times for Epic++, Epic+++, etc.
Merging Tips:
â DO Merge:
- Duplicate Common/Rare weapons (they're cluttering your inventory)
- Duplicate Epics if you already have a better weapon equipped
- Low-stat Mythics if you have multiple
â DON'T Merge:
- Your only copy of a high-Area weapon
- Mythics with max Area stat (keep for farming runs)
- Giant Mythics (extremely rare, keep all variants)
đ Best Weapons by Category
Best Farming Weapons (Chest Collecting):
- Any weapon with Area 8+
- Rarity matters less; Area is king
- Keep at least 2-3 high-Area weapons
Best Boss/Speed Run Weapons:
- Mythic or Giant Mythic with max Cutting Power
- Area doesn't matter much here
- Speed becomes more valuable
Best All-Around Weapons:
- Epic or Mythic with balanced stats (Area 5-7, high Cutting Power)
- These work well for general progression
đĻ Weapon Drop Rates (Estimated)
Rarity | Common Chest | Rare Chest | Epic Chest | Mythic Chest | Giant Chest |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Common | 70% | 20% | 5% | 1% | 0% |
Rare | 25% | 60% | 30% | 10% | 5% |
Epic | 4% | 18% | 50% | 35% | 20% |
Mythic | 1% | 2% | 14% | 50% | 60% |
Giant Mythic | 0% | 0% | 1% | 4% | 15% |
These are community estimates and may vary
đŽ Weapon Management Strategy
Inventory Space is Limited! Here's how to manage it:
-
Keep:
- All Giant Mythics (no exceptions)
- Your top 3 highest Cutting Power weapons
- Your top 3 highest Area weapons
- Any Mythic with unique stats
-
Merge:
- All duplicate Commons and Rares
- Duplicate Epics if you have 3+ of the same type
- Low-stat Mythics if you have better ones
-
Auto-Equip:
- The game auto-equips your highest Cutting Power weapon by default
- Manually switch to high-Area weapons for farming runs
đ Weapon Progression Path
Hours 1-3 (Forest World):
- Start with Basic Axe
- First Rare weapon = huge power spike
- First Epic with Area 5+ = farming unlocked
Hours 4-10 (Saving for Lava):
- Collect Epic weapons with balanced stats
- Look for Area 6-8 weapons
- Start getting occasional Mythics from lucky chests
Hours 10-20 (Lava World):
- Unlock Anvil, merge duplicate Epics
- Farm for Mythic weapons
- Get your first Giant Mythic if lucky
Hours 20+ (World 3+):
- Full Mythic loadout
- Hunting for perfect-stat Giant Mythics
- Merging Mythics for Mythic+ versions
âī¸ Weapon Type Varieties
Weapons come in different forms (cosmetic, stats are what matter):
- Axes - Classic lumberjack tool
- Swords - Fantasy style
- Hammers - Heavy hitters
- Cleavers - Brutal choppers
- Saws - Modern cutting tools
- Scythes - Mystical reapers
Note: Weapon type is purely cosmetic! A Mythic Sword and Mythic Axe with identical stats perform exactly the same.
đĄ Pro Tips
-
Don't sleep on Area stat - Most players undervalue it, but it's the #1 farming stat
-
Check your arsenal regularly - You might have a great weapon sitting unequipped
-
Save Mythic Chests for events - Some events have boosted drop rates
-
Trade with friends - If the game adds trading, high-Area Mythics will be valuable
-
Screenshot your Giant Mythics - They're flex-worthy and rare!
â Common Questions
Q: Should I merge two Mythics with different stats? A: No! Merging combines them into one. Only merge duplicates.
Q: Can I get my weapon back after merging? A: No, merging is permanent. Be careful!
Q: What's the highest Area stat possible? A: Community reports suggest 12+ on Giant Mythics, but it's extremely rare.
Q: Do weapons have durability? A: No! Once you get a weapon, it's yours forever (unless you merge it).
Remember: In Cut Trees, your weapon collection IS your progression. Treat those Mythics well, and they'll carry you to World 4 and beyond!
