Complete Beginner's Guide to Cut Trees
Master Cut Trees from scratch - learn the core loop, chest system, and fastest progression strategies for new players
Welcome to Cut Trees!
Cut Trees is an incremental simulator game on Roblox created by BEEP GAMES (launched July 18, 2025). With over 34+ million visits, it's become one of the most popular tree-cutting games on the platform.
đŽ Core Gameplay Loop
The gameplay revolves around a simple but addictive cycle:
- Cut Trees - Use your axe to chop down trees in the forest
- Collect Chests - Cutting trees unlocks access to chests scattered throughout the map
- Finish Your Run - Return to the lobby when ready
- Open Chests - Unlock your collected chests for new tools
- Equip New Tools - Better tools = faster cutting = more chests
- Repeat - Each run gets more efficient!
đ° Basic Controls
- WASD - Move your character
- Mouse - Control camera view
- Click - Attack/Chop trees (or enable Auto Attack in settings)
- ESC - Open menu
âī¸ Understanding Your Tools
You spawn with a Basic Axe, but the real game is collecting better weapons from chests. Every tool has three key stats:
- Cutting Power - How much damage each hit does
- Speed - How fast you swing
- Area - How many trees you can hit at once
Pro Tip for Beginners: In early game, prioritize Area stat! Being able to cut multiple trees simultaneously is more valuable than raw damage when you're starting out.
đĻ Chest System Explained
Chests are the heart of progression. There are different chest rarities:
- Common Chests (Gray) - Basic tools
- Rare Chests (Blue) - Decent upgrades
- Epic Chests (Purple) - Strong weapons
- Mythic Chests (Gold) - The best tools!
- Giant Chests - Ultra-rare, contain Giant Mythic weapons
How to Get Chests:
- Scattered throughout the forest - cutting nearby trees unlocks them
- Some trees require minimum cutting power to chop
- Higher-tier areas have better chest spawns
đ Free Rewards (No Codes Needed!)
Cut Trees doesn't have a code system yet, but you can still get free chests:
- Time-Based Free Chest - Resets every few minutes, grab it whenever available
- Group Chest - Join the BEEP GAMES Roblox Group and like the game to unlock an exclusive chest
